Pouilly Fuisse Premier Cru Pouilly Domaine Cheveau 2023

In the hamlet of Pouilly, three generations of the Cheveau family have coaxed rich, mineral Chardonnay from clay-limestone and granite slopes. Their Pouilly-Fuissé range, including newly classified Premier Crus, reflects patient, parcel-by-parcel Mâconnais craftsmanship.

This Premier Cru named Pouilly comes from the very heart of the hamlet, where the Cheveau family has grown vines since the 1950s. The 2023 should show a structured, powerful Chardonnay with ripe stone fruit and mineral depth, rewarding a few years of cellaring.
