Above Bergerac, Domaine l'Ancienne Cure has farmed the clay-limestone hills around Colombier for five generations, organic since 2009. Christian Roche's legacy lives on in wines that marry Sémillon's honeyed richness with the structured, food-loving character of the Southwest.

This Pécharmant blends Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec on iron-rich clay-gravel soils. The Jour de Fruit style favours juicy immediacy: expect ripe cherry and blackcurrant on a supple, round palate, ready to enjoy on release.
