Pacherenc du Vic Bilh Sec Eden Chateau du Pouey 2024
Built on a ridge above Viella, Château du Pouey has passed through four generations, with Bastien Lannusse taking the reins in 2012 at just twenty-five. Farming three distinct terroirs across Madiran and Pacherenc, he broke from the cooperative to craft fruity, silky-tannined wines with real personality.
Éden is a dry Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh from Bastien Lannusse's three-terroir estate at Viella, blending Gros and Petit Manseng with Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The 2024 should show fresh citrus and orchard fruit with real vivacity — a fourth-generation Madiran family's take on dry Pyrenean white.
