In Morogues, at the heart of Menetou-Salon, Antoine Van Remoortere returned home in 2011 to take over his father's four hectares on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils. Farming organically, he crafts precise, unpretentious Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir that quietly rival Sancerre next door.

This Menetou-Salon Blanc, 100% Sauvignon from Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils at Morogues, is vinified with precision and without excess. The 2025 should show fresh citrus, a fruity core and a distinct mineral edge — a fine, unshowy ambassador for this Sancerre neighbour.
