Lalande de Pomerol Chateau Bel-Air 2015
On a sun-warmed plateau bordering Pomerol itself, Château Bel-Air draws deep colour and generous flesh from gravel and iron-rich clay. Distributed by the storied Libourne house Jean-Pierre Moueix, it is Lalande-de-Pomerol at its most classically plush.
Grown on gravel over iron-rich clay bordering Pomerol, this blend of mostly Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon comes from the well-regarded 2015 vintage. A decade on, expect ripe red and black fruit, floral top notes and a harmonious balance of flesh and tannin — ready to drink with duck or lamb.
