Fronton Alabets Domaine Plaisance Penavayre 2021

In Vacquiers, the Penavayre family has farmed since the 1870s, leaving their cooperative in 1977 to bottle their own Fronton. Organic and biodynamic since the 2000s, Marc and Thibaut champion Négrette and rare local grapes like Bouysselet with real conviction.

Alabets is one of Château Plaisance Penavayre's Négrette-driven Fronton reds, farmed organically and biodynamically on argilo-graveleux soils near Vacquiers. The 2021 should show authentic, floral red fruit with the moderate, food-friendly character Négrette is known for.
