Emmanuel Darnaud is Crozes-Hermitage distilled to its essence — a vigneron who farms Syrah and Marsanne with precision and quiet passion. His wines are sleek and mineral, shaped by the rolling hills between Hermitage and Valence with a sure, elegant hand.

Mise en Bouche is Darnaud's most immediately expressive Crozes-Hermitage, from alluvial gravel and clay soils. The 2024 should show generous dark berry fruit, violet and spice with soft, approachable tannins — sleek and precise, organically farmed since 2023.
