Catherine and Jean-Mary Le Bihan left other careers to revive scattered old vines around Duras in 1999, farming organically without chaptalization or additives. Their reds and whites are deep, honest and full of character — wines that helped put Côtes de Duras back on the map.

Vieillefont is one of Mouthes le Bihan's more structured Côtes de Duras reds, from old vines around Saint-Jean-de-Duras. The 2020 should show deep, honest fruit with real character, organically farmed with minimal intervention and unpredictable, natural fermentation.
