A guardian of Chinon's wild soul, Philippe Alliet tends his old vines on the tuffeau slopes above the Vienne with quiet devotion. His wines carry the mineral tension of ancient limestone and the perfume of pure Cabernet Franc — untamed, singular, deeply Loire.

L'Huisserie is one of Alliet's flagship single-vineyard reds, from clay-and-flint soils acquired in 2000. The 2023 Cabernet Franc shows spice, dark berries and violet, with a more textured, structured profile than the estate's Cravant holdings — built for the cellar.
