The Armenier family has tended vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since the Middle Ages, and sisters Catherine and Sophie made Domaine de Marcoux one of biodynamics' pioneers here in 1990. Their old-vine Grenache yields wines of luminous purity, grace and quiet power.

This 2023 Châteauneuf-du-Pape reflects a cooler vintage likely to bring added freshness to Marcoux's old-vine Grenache blend. Expect red-fruited purity and the smoky stoniness that emerges with age, from one of the appellation's biodynamic trailblazers.
