Château Tour des Gendres, reinvented by Luc de Conti from 1981 on land his Italian immigrant grandfather once farmed, has become the flagship estate of Bergerac. Organic since the 1990s and now run by his children, its wines pair limestone precision with real ambition.

Cantalouette is one of Château Tour des Gendres' accessible Bergerac reds, 100% Cabernet Franc on clay-limestone soils at Ribagnac. The 2024 should show fruity, silky-tannined character with real freshness, in the estate's gently extracted, tank-aged style.
