Bergerac Rouge Ca Sulfit Domaine l'Ancienne Cure 2022

Above Bergerac, Domaine l'Ancienne Cure has farmed the clay-limestone hills around Colombier for five generations, organic since 2009. Christian Roche's legacy lives on in wines that marry Sémillon's honeyed richness with the structured, food-loving character of the Southwest.

Ça Sulfit is built mainly from Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Malbec, farmed organically on clay-limestone hillsides. The warm 2022 should show ripe black fruit, a rounder, more generous structure and fine-grained tannins — a versatile red for everyday grilled and roasted dishes.
