Alsace Pinot Noir Tradition Domaine Beyer 2023
In fortified Eguisheim, Domaine Emile Beyer has farmed limestone slopes since 1580 — fourteen generations of Alsatian winegrowing. Organic since 2014, the estate crafts aromatic whites and sparkling wines of clarity and precision, rooted in centuries of accumulated knowledge.
Alsace Pinot Noir has grown increasingly serious, and this barrel-aged Tradition bottling from Eguisheim's limestone soils reflects that shift. The 2023 should show red fruit, vanilla and toasted almond with structured, moderately tannic character — organic and lighter than Burgundy.
