Xavier Braujou, a former lumberjack, planted half a hectare of Syrah at Aniane in 1998 and built it into fourteen hectares of organic, biodynamic vines. Working single varieties and single parcels at punishingly low yields, he crafts Languedoc reds of rare finesse and freshness.

L'Enclos is one of Xavier Braujou's single-varietal IGP Hérault bottlings from Aniane, farmed at punishingly low yields of 20 to 25 hl/ha. The 2023 should show finesse and freshness rather than power, hand-harvested and vinified with minimal intervention.
