At Château des Vaults in Savennières, a line of women winegrowers has shaped one of the Loire's most demanding Chenin terroirs. Organic and biodynamic on schist soils overlooking the river, Domaine du Closel crafts dry whites of rare precision and mineral drive.

La Jalousie is grown on Savennières' schist and volcanic-flecked soils. The 2022 dry Chenin should show tension between ripeness and racy acidity, with orchard fruit and a flinty, mineral edge — organic and biodynamic precision from this historic estate.
