Romain Guiberteau is Saumur's finest interpreter of Chenin Blanc — a winemaker of rare sensitivity who draws startling depth from the tuffeau limestone of Brézé. His whites are among the Loire's most compelling, combining tension, richness and extraordinary longevity.

Les Moulins is a dry Saumur Chenin Blanc on limestone and tuffeau soils. Now several years old, the 2019 should show citrus and orchard-fruit complexity layered with honeyed, developing notes, carried by a chalky, mineral backbone.
