In the Black Forest foothills of Baden, Mark Enderle and Florian Moll farm Pinot Noir on ancient Buntsandstein sandstone with biodynamic precision. Their wines are delicate, translucent and deeply terroir-driven — a German take on Burgundy that is entirely its own.
Liaison is Enderle & Moll's approachable Pinot Noir — a blend of sites across their Baden vineyards, vinified naturally without additions. The 2021 shows cherry, red plum and a lifted herbal note, with silky tannins and refreshing acidity. Elegant and immediately pleasurable.
