Marcillac Mansois Domaine du Cros 2021
In the Vallon de Marcillac, the Teulier family has farmed vines since 1882, on steep red clay 'rougiers' soils reaching 65% slopes. Their wines are built exclusively from Fer Servadou — rustic, peppery reds that are the soul of this small Aveyron appellation.
This cuvée takes its name from Mansois, the local term for Fer Servadou. The 2021, grown on steep red clay 'rougiers,' should show the grape's rustic, peppery character with firm tannins and dark berry fruit — traditional Marcillac from a five-generation estate.
