Marcillac Lo Sang del Pais Domaine du Cros 2024
In the Vallon de Marcillac, the Teulier family has farmed vines since 1882, on steep red clay 'rougiers' soils reaching 65% slopes. Their wines are built exclusively from Fer Servadou — rustic, peppery reds that are the soul of this small Aveyron appellation.
Lo Sang del Païs, meaning 'the blood of the land,' was the domaine's very first bottled wine in 1964. The 2024, 100% Fer Servadou, should show peppery, rustic character with bright red fruit, built for early to mid-term drinking.
