Lirac La Lorentine Domaine de Marcoux 2022

The Armenier family has tended vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since the Middle Ages, and sisters Catherine and Sophie made Domaine de Marcoux one of biodynamics' pioneers here in 1990. Their old-vine Grenache yields wines of luminous purity, grace and quiet power.

La Lorentine is Marcoux's Lirac bottling, from eight contiguous hectares on limestone soils rich in red clay, pebbles and sand. The 2022 should show the Armenier family's biodynamic precision applied to this neighbouring appellation, with warm, structured red fruit.
