Irancy La Voie de Cravant Domaine Goisot 2022

Ghislaine et Jean-Hugues Goisot are standard-bearers of the Auxerrois — a largely forgotten corner of northern Burgundy where Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Noir flourish on Kimmeridgian soils. Pioneers of organic viticulture, their wines are precise, energetic and alive with mineral tension.

La Voie de Cravant is an Irancy red, an appellation unique for permitting a small addition of César alongside Pinot Noir. The 2022 should show depth and peppery spice, Pinot Noir's finesse layered over César's darker backbone.
