Fronton Le Pitchou Domaine Plaisance Penavayre 2022

In Vacquiers, the Penavayre family has farmed since the 1870s, leaving their cooperative in 1977 to bottle their own Fronton. Organic and biodynamic since the 2000s, Marc and Thibaut champion Négrette and rare local grapes like Bouysselet with real conviction.

Le Pitchou is one of Marc and Thibaut Penavayre's Fronton bottlings, built around Négrette with Cabernet, Gamay and Syrah. The 2022 should show ripe, generous fruit from this argilo-graveleux terroir, farmed organically since the 2000s.
