Emmanuel Darnaud is Crozes-Hermitage distilled to its essence — a vigneron who farms Syrah and Marsanne with precision and quiet passion. His wines are sleek and mineral, shaped by the rolling hills between Hermitage and Valence with a sure, elegant hand.

Les Trois Chênes, named for its three oak vessel types, is one of Darnaud's more concentrated cuvées. The 2023 should show dark fruit, mocha and toasted spice with firm but ripe tannins — a serious, age-worthy Crozes-Hermitage.
