Cotes du Rhone La Papesse Domaine Gramenon 2021

On the high plateau above Montbrison-sur-Lez, Michèle Aubéry and now her son Maxime-François Laurent farm ancient Grenache vines up to 120 years old. Biodynamic since 2010, Gramenon has become one of the southern Rhône's most revered natural-wine estates.

La Papesse is a Grenache-based cuvée from the limestone plateau above Montbrison-sur-Lez. The 2021 should show red fruit and garrigue spice with the silky, elegant texture typical of Michèle Aubéry's biodynamic winemaking.
