Château Tour des Gendres, reinvented by Luc de Conti from 1981 on land his Italian immigrant grandfather once farmed, has become the flagship estate of Bergerac. Organic since the 1990s and now run by his children, its wines pair limestone precision with real ambition.

La Gloire de Mon Père is Château Tour des Gendres' serious, cellar-worthy red, a tribute cuvée built for extended ageing. The 2023 should show dense, structured fruit with fine tannins, organically farmed on clay-limestone soils around Ribagnac — the estate's most ambitious red.
