Cote Rotie La Chana Domaine Duclaux 2023

On the steep terraced slopes of Tupin-et-Semons, the Duclaux brothers farm gneiss terraces by hand, continuing a family tradition on this southern Côte-Rôtie terroir since 1928. Their Syrahs show polished tannins and the appellation's characteristic peppery elegance.

La Chana blends in a small portion of Viognier for aromatic lift and silky texture. The 2023, from steep gneiss terraces, should show red and black fruit with floral, peppery notes and polished tannins — hand-farmed Côte-Rôtie tradition.
