A guardian of Chinon's wild soul, Philippe Alliet tends his old vines on the tuffeau slopes above the Vienne with quiet devotion. His wines carry the mineral tension of ancient limestone and the perfume of pure Cabernet Franc — untamed, singular, deeply Loire.

A rare white from a domaine built on Cabernet Franc, this 100% Chenin comes from gravel over limestone. The 2023 shows orchard fruit, quince and a chalky, saline edge, with enough weight for river fish or a full cheese board — precise and restrained, just like the reds.
