The Armenier family has tended vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since the Middle Ages, and sisters Catherine and Sophie made Domaine de Marcoux one of biodynamics' pioneers here in 1990. Their old-vine Grenache yields wines of luminous purity, grace and quiet power.

This 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the Armenier sisters' biodynamic estate should show old-vine Grenache's dense but pure red-fruit character, framed by galets roulés and sandy soils. A luminous, refined expression of this celebrated appellation.
