The Armenier family has tended vines in Châteauneuf-du-Pape since the Middle Ages, and sisters Catherine and Sophie made Domaine de Marcoux one of biodynamics' pioneers here in 1990. Their old-vine Grenache yields wines of luminous purity, grace and quiet power.

Marcoux's Châteauneuf-du-Pape draws on thirteen parcels averaging fifty years of age, farmed biodynamically since 1990. The 2019 should show the estate's signature red-fruited purity with a smoky, stony undertone emerging with bottle age — luminous and elegant.
