Bourgogne Chardonnay Cote D'Or Domaine Jean-Philippe Fichet 2022

In Meursault, Jean-Philippe Fichet rebuilt an estate almost from scratch after losing his leased vines in 1991. Farming organically with meticulous, low-yield precision, his Chardonnays across Meursault, Auxey-Duresses and Monthélie rival Burgundy's most celebrated names.

This regional Bourgogne Chardonnay offers an accessible introduction to Fichet's precise white-wine style. The warm 2022 should show ripe orchard fruit with the domaine's characteristic mineral backbone, aged eleven months in oak.
