In fortified Eguisheim, Domaine Emile Beyer has farmed limestone slopes since 1580 — fourteen generations of Alsatian winegrowing. Organic since 2014, the estate crafts aromatic whites and sparkling wines of clarity and precision, rooted in centuries of accumulated knowledge.
From vineyards adjacent to Eichberg and Pfersigberg, this Pinot Gris should show the variety's characteristic weight — dried apricot, honey, smoky spice — balanced by limestone-driven freshness. Fuller-bodied than the estate's Riesling, suited to richer dishes.
