Domaine Vaïsse
Domaine Vaïsse, located in the heart of the Rhône Valley, is a family-run estate founded in 1999 by Pierre Vaïsse. Originally starting with just a few hectares, Pierre gradually expanded the estate to 18 hectares of vineyards, now managed with his wife Audrey, producing red and white wines that express both finesse and depth. The vineyards, planted on schist, clay, and rolled pebbles, cultivate Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, and Viognier, with careful attention to manual harvesting, yield management, and sustainable viticulture.
Pierre’s winemaking emphasizes precision and balance: reds are fermented and aged in oak to achieve structure and complexity, while whites are fermented in barrels to maintain freshness and roundness. The estate produces expressive cuvées such as Cœur de Syrah and Viognier, known for their aromatic purity and elegance. Domaine Vaïsse combines traditional Rhône Valley winemaking with environmental respect, crafting wines that are structured, harmonious, and built for aging.
