Domaine Bonnard
Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this family-run estate benefits from a unique terroir and a microclimate conducive to vine-growing. The Domaine Bonnard vineyards stretch over steep hills (30 to 70% gradient!), where the vines are cultivated with care and respect for the environment (organic certification). The region's emblematic grape varieties find their purest expression here, giving birth to authentic, elegant wines. Calcareous scree for Mondeuse and Pinot Noir. Deep clay for Altesse. And chalky-clay composed of rolled pebbles for Chardonnay and Gamay.
The wine story at Maison Bonnard began in 1988. The two brothers, Roland and Frédéric, set up with one hectare of vines, in the midst of their parents' mixed farming activity. Today, thirty years later, the estate extends over 16 hectares, with a new generation joining the ranks... Romain and Anne-Sophie.
The passion for wine and know-how handed down from generation to generation are reflected in every bottle produced by Maison Bonnard. The resulting wines captivate with their unique character, balance and sincere expression of terroir.
