Domaine Quenard
Domaine André et Michel Quenard is a family-owned estate in Chignin, Savoie, with winemaking traditions dating back to the 17th century. The modern estate was established in 1976, and today Guillaume Quenard, son of Michel and grandson of André, continues the family legacy. The vineyard spans 6 hectares, planted on the historic Torméry slopes, at altitudes of 300–400 meters with steep gradients of 40–70%.
The estate produces white, red, and rosé wines under the Vin de Savoie Chignin and Chignin Bergeron appellations. Viticulture is manual, organic, and biodynamic, with plowing by horse and careful respect for natural ecosystems. The family emphasizes low-intervention winemaking to reveal the purity of the grape and terroir, with hand-harvested grapes, traditional vinification, and attention to soil health and biodiversity.
Domaine Quenard wines are known for their authenticity, elegance, and expression of the unique Savoie terroir, sold primarily in fine dining restaurants and to loyal private clients.
