Domaine Combier
Domaine Combier, located in the Rhône Valley, is a family-run estate with a history spanning four generations. Founded in 1936 by Camille Combier, the estate now extends over 60 hectares, including 51 ha of Crozes-Hermitage (Syrah, Marsanne & Roussanne), 3 ha of Saint-Joseph (Syrah), and 6 ha of Bergeron apricot trees. Pioneers in organic viticulture since the 1970s, the family has maintained a philosophy of complete respect for nature and terroir, believing that only balanced grapes can produce wines that are harmonious, fresh, and expressive.
Under Laurent and Ghislaine, and now with their children Julien and David, the estate produces highly acclaimed cuvées such as Cuvée L, Cuvée Cap Nord, Clos des Grives, and Saint-Joseph. Meticulous vineyard management, diverse soils, and careful use of concrete eggs, foudres, amphorae, and barrels allow the wines to develop complexity, elegance, and typicity unique to each parcel. Domaine Combier’s wines are meant to be enjoyed from the first sip to the last, reflecting both family heritage and a living terroir.
