Domaine de Castelneau
Château La Guirlande is located halfway between the Mediterranean Sea and the Massif Central foothills, just 4 kilometers from the historic city of Pézenas. The estate's vineyards stretch across plains and garrigues, where soils of fine sand, clay, and silt—deposited by the nearby Hérault River—contribute to the production of fresh and fruity white and rosé wines. The influence of the nearby Etang de Thau enhances the character of the estate's Picpoul de Pinet plots.
With a total surface of 210 hectares, the estate primarily produces varietal wines under the Pays d’Oc label. To preserve the aromatic potential of the grapes, the vineyard employs a system of nighttime mechanical harvesting. In the cellar, soft pressings, careful juice selection, and the limited use of sulphites ensure the creation of balanced, high-quality wines.
