Château la Martinette
Château La Martinette is located somewhere off the beaten track, nestling in a beautiful and unique landscape in the heart of the Var region on the banks of the Argens river. Founded in 1620, it is one of the oldest wine estates in Provence, yet it is constantly evolving. In addition to growing vines, La Martinette’s land is perfect for the cultivation of other traditional Provençal crops. The estate therefore boasts an olive grove, a conservatory orchard and a vegetable garden.
The 45 hectares of vineyard are undergoing organic certification and are protected 350 hectares (863 acres) of woods, olive trees, lavender fields and hillside terraces..
The wines are harvested manually at dawn. They are aged on fine lees for several months. The wines are slightly fined and / or filtered.
